Reading Well Books on Prescription
The Reading Well Books on Prescription schemes help you to understand and manage your health and wellbeing using helpful reading. The schemes also aim to help relatives and carers of people living with the conditions covered.

Books are available to borrow for both adults and children on mental health, dementia, teenager and young people support and long term conditions.

Give your child the best startBookstart helps families discover the fun and excitement of sharing books together from an early age.

If you have not received a Bookstart pack, visit your local library and talk to the staff.
Bookstart Bear Club
Bookstart Bear ClubBookstart Bear Club is a free club for all children from birth to pre-school, provided in all libraries.

Your child will be given a free membership pack including a special passport that will be stamped every time you and your child visit the library.

For every six stamps that your child collects they will receive a Bookstart Bear Club certificate (there are 10 to collect!).
